Re: need help with dreamweaver flash buttons

Good bloody god.. is that you? You look mighty fine, sod the buttons LOL.

Seriously, your flash buttons work fine for me in FireFox but do exactly the same and you said in IE so I can only guess that it's your browser that's being naughty - no surprise there where IE is concerned.

Now, looking at your source code it might well be the <div align="center"> in your table heading. It was showing a rather strange dashed border for me - remove the <div align="center"> and just centre the text in the normal way: <h1 align="center"><font size="7">Etienne Lavigne</font></h1>

Another good test is to move the buttons outside of the table and upload that - just to see if it's the table configuration that's throwing the flash code out. Upload it as a different named file just for test purposes.

To be honest, flash buttons are labour intensive and unnecessary these days. Have a look at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/cs...y/category/C1/ and also at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/indexb.html - two excellent sources of menu ideas that don't require the creation of flash files - don't forget, a lot of people turn off flash content! These are fast, and don't need to be loaded by your viewers

Hope that helps...
