Re: Toshiba laptop wont boot after installing SP2

If you try to boot into safe mode options you should never see the XP logo.

After you power on the machine continually tap tap tap the F8 key.

You should get a list of options. Safe Mode being one. If you get there try Safe Mode: System Restore.

Most Recoveries offer a Repair install. What is the exact Toshiba model? There may be instructions at the site I posted.
