Hello all,

I’ve given up, I have no idea what is going on with my computer. Recently, I’ve been getting pop-ups advertising WinAntiVirus and that will occasionally automatically direct me to a download. However, I have not knowingly downloaded anything yet. The thing that gets me is that no new application or process ever shows up. I ended every unnecessary process that I knew of, and it still keeps happening. Also, if I'm playing a game, such as Counter-Strike, it will minimize it randomly with a little beep/click sound. I believe it may be the IE pop up sound, not sure though as I have not used IE in years.

Since I always use Firefox, I maxed out all security settings on IE and now I’ll occasionally get this notification stating “Your current security settings will not allow you to send HTML forms”. These notifications will normally come in a group of 3-10 or so.
