Did you uninstall using
'Add/Remove Programs' entry for AVG
(in Control Panel)? Try that first.
If necessary, reinstall AVG again and then
PROPERLY uninstall it.
Post a revised HijackThis LOG and current observations if you successfully remove AVG.
