As was previously stated, there was/is a potentially serious Trojan compromise of your PC (password stealing and identity theft threat consequences).


The following KNOWN item can be removed but there is no guarantee that this will resolved everything satisfactorily - such an infection still has potential continuing consequences given the absence of an advisable complete re-install.


SELECT HijackThis FIX ITEMS: Scan with HijackThis and place a check next to these items:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SHELL] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00003.exe"

Make sure that all browser windows and internet links are closed, even this one!
CLICK ’FIX CHECKED’ with HijackThis.




Remove the following file in SAFE MODE:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders\ibm00003.exe
