Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

R3 - URLSearchHook: PerfectNavBHO Class - {00D6A7E7-4A97-456f-848A-3B75BF7554D7} - C:\PROGRA~1\PERFEC~1\BHO\PERFEC~1.DLL
O2 - BHO: NavErrRedir Class - {00D6A7E7-4A97-456f-848A-3B75BF7554D7} - C:\PROGRA~1\PERFEC~1\BHO\PERFEC~1.DLL
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows SyncroAd] C:\SyncroAd.exe
O16 - DPF: {15AD4789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://public.windupdates.com/get_f...093531cd 20223

Click Fix Checked

Go to the Control Panel and uninstall DAP or Download Accelerator Plus.

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following files and folders:
C:\Program Files\PerfectNAV
C:\SyncroAd.exe

Reboot

Get yourself to Windows Update and download ALL Critical Updates and Service packs. Also under the optional updates, download the latest version of DirectX.
