Re: Reformatting and System Restore.

If you are talking about XP's System Restore you can reset it by right clicking My Computer then click Properties then System Restore.

Turn it off then back on. This resets it but also deletes any previous Restore Points.

If you are talking about some Acer feature I am not familiar with it.


You need to reinstall your graphics drivers if you have not.


The log on and off options are under Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off

Uncheck "Use the Welcome Screen".
