How to use Windows Easy Transfer Companion to transfer programs from Windows XP with Service Pack 2 to Windows Vista

I can find no current download of this software. No archives either. All links go back to Microsoft who apparently have discontinued it.

It was Beta software released in '06 to help promote Vista.

It was specific from XP SP2 to Vista (pre SP1). It never left Beta and perhaps SP1 totally killed it.

I'd suggest reinstalling your programs from disks or a new download.
