My wife's computer is "operating" with Vista Home. Even though everything indicates that Flash Player 9 is properly installed and in the correct folder, when using some of her games, she gets a message that Flash Player 8 or higher is required. She is also unable to run some other applications that require Flash Player.

I have totally uninstalled Flash Player from the computer and then re-installed the current version of Flash Player from the Adobe/Micromedia website to no avail.

Can anyone help?
