Lots of rain lately from the leftovers of the Hurricane that hit Texas. I've been to Big Bend Natl Park in Texas which is a couple hundred miles from house. I've been to the Badlands in South Dakota and looked at Sabertooth Tiger Fossils imbedded in the ground. I've looked over the edge of the Grand Canyon and cruzed over Hoover Dam. I've walked up to Montezuma's Castle and have gotten real close to Anastasi and Pueblo Indian cities. They won't let you get to close to those I've cruzed Rt 66 and have eaten and partied in a lot of Joints on that route besides smoking a few. I have some Mate's don't know if I'm spelling that correctly, that came from a prehistoric indian cave communty close to my ranch in Esperanza. These Mate's were used to grind up mesquite beans to make a flour to bake bread. The caves when you lay on your back on the floor Are covered with stone age paintings of hunts and village wars. Animals depicted on the ceiling aren't in that area anymore but the paintings are a stunning sight. On a closing note the weather is always pleasent and hot in my book. My Ranch is located walking distance from the Rio Grande and Mexico, nstled in a big bowl of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range. There are Hotsprings 22 miles up the road from the house. I have a old Vietnam Vet Buddy( He likes his Beer) stay at the ranch for free and be my caretaker for it. He has a affection for chiuahua dogs. Can't spell then Mexican words to well. So the ranch house now carries an odor to it that he doesn't notice in his perpetual inebriated state.
