Dial-Up Issues
My friend has encountered a problem. Recently, thier phone service, Verizon, had a problem with the lines. They fixed the issue, but now, if the phoneline is hooked into her computer to log onto the internet (Netzero) it makes all the lines across the house say In-Use, and makes them click, while when she tries to log on, she has to have the phoneline out, until right before she hits the log on button, otherwise it says it cannot find a dial tone. The only way to free the lines, is to have the line completely disconnected from her computer, otherwise it clogs the line, online or not. Is there a way to fix this strange issue? Thank you!
