Windows Installer Never lets Up!

Hello everyone,

I have had to use my backup HD to restore my machine to a working example. Unfortunately, I think that I removed some Adobe programmes and stupidly did not use the 'Add/Remove,' in the control panel. Consequently every time I double click any programme I get a message onto the desktop from Window Installer:

'The feature you are trying to install is on a network resource that is unavailable.'

It seems to looking for acropro.msi which is a ADOBE acrobat file, as I have forcible removed Acrobat, this is not available,

Also when I attempt to reinstall Acrobat it will not allow it, telling me I already have Acorbat on my computer. I have completely cleared the Registry of ALL Acrobat points and still it insists I have it installed.

Any clues please?

regards
