Hello D-A-L, it's been a while but this one really has me confused. My sister has recently had this laptop taken over by Spyware, Trojans, etc. including things such as StopSign (I believe is spyware) and SystemSecurity, and I'm sure there are others as well. This laptop currently uses Windows Vista, and I got so fed up with trying to fix it that I was going to format the harddrive since there is really nothing important on here, but I only have an XP CD, and when I tried formatting it was telling me there was no Hard Disk installed on the computer, not sure if that was caused by the malware or a Vista/XP issue.

With the SystemSecurity, I think I removed some of the registry keys it had, but I'm not sure. It currently doesn't pop up, but I still cannot use any programs which was one of the symptoms with it. I am posting in Safe Mode with Networking as that is the only way to access any programs and the internet. I tried running Norton Antivirus and Spybot but nothing was successful.
