Re: Change memory timing

Did you study your manual carefully particulary in the BIOS section. If it doesn't have the option to change the timing then it must be automatic and goes by either what the RAM is designed to run at or perhaps what the computer needs it to run at.

The RAM is picky and that is why I asked if it is designed to run with the timing that you want. I am finding it strange that windows likes the settings but Linux doesn't.
