Re: Change memory timing

If you are not happy with Ubuntu Fred because of Dialup. You might give MEPIS 8 a shot. I run Antix 8 which is the Minnie Me version of Mepis 8. I like it.

Sorry you are having issues/trouble with PCLOS. The problem with some Linux distros is the developers take the generic Linux kernel and modify it to what it should have for modules and so their distro will boot up fine on some Hardware while not on others. It just hit me just. PCLOS is a rpm distro. Right? So you are used to rpm type distro why don't you try out Mandriva?
