Re: Random Resets/BSD
My computer is restarting and I disabled that per your instructions.
Here are a few more details:
When I get the System Error 1003 I get a message after reboot that it was caused by a driver (of course doesn't way which). I looked up that error code and I found too many possible causes for it that I have NO clue what to do about it. Also, my system may run fine now for the rest of the week and then start having problems again on the weekend, it's just too random.
On Thursday last week I did a full format of my computer and reinstalled everything with the newest drivers and updates.
Last friday my system was running fine for over 24hours so I installed Nero 6.6 and it crashed after that. So I removed Nero again and the system ran fine until today, nothing changed. Over the weekend I was playing a lot of World of Warcraft which should have a high memory and cpu usage.
My system reset today at 4pm, I left for school at 3pm and logged off so the computer was at the logon screen when it reset so there shouldn't have been much running in the background.
Also, sometimes my taskbar sometimes takes up to 10 seconds to respond, like I close IE which closes instantly but it takes up to 10 seconds for it to disappear from the taskbar.
Here is every piece of hardware on my computer:
AthlonXP 3200+
Antec TruPower 430 PowerSupply
Thermaltake Xaser 2 6000 Case
Asus A7N8X Deluxe MB (using nvidia onboard LAN)
