Thumbs up Re: Wireless Broadband connection

Hi DJNafey,

I spoke to BT on the Dublin phone number 0845 600 7030 (multi-option comes up) select btyahoo customer technical, do not go to alternative number if that comes up.

Told them I was connecting wireless network router, they have no problem this. and were very helpful.

Settings as advised by BT are:
1.firstname.surname@btbroadband.com (login.name@btbroadband)with your email password,not bt
2. Set in IE tools/options/connections set to 'Never dial a connection'
3. DHCP should be set in network TCP/IP properties 'obtain IP address automatically' details how to do this are on the installation disk
4.VPI should be set to 0
5. VCI should be set to 38
6. PPPoA should be VCI MUX
7. DNS setting
1st 194.74.65.68
2nd 194.74.65.69
Or 1st 194.72.6.51
2nd 194.72.6.52
