Look in add/remove program and remove if present:

Reboot if anything removed.
This line below is in hijackthis log, are you familiar with it?:

Download Clean.bat to your desktop(Save page as or Save as): for later use to clean out your TEMPORARY and PREFETCH files.

Run hijackthis and click on scan button and put checks next to these:

Nothing open but hijackthis and click fix checked.
Now run that
clean batch file you created earlier, type in
'Y' a couple of times and
press enter at the prompts.
Reboot normal mode and...

Here is another little Temp File Cleaner that currently only works on Windows Xp and 2000 systems. It does not require any installation and uses but minimal system resources. It is set up to clean IE, FireFox and Opera. It reads the browsers you have and greyes out the other(s). It is, in my opinion, the safest one around.

This program is for XP and Windows 2000 only
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browser
Click Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browser
Click Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
