Re: Slow computer slow browsing

Browsing seems faster, but reboot still takes over 6 mins.
Is this sometimes caused by malware?
Malware includes all unwanted software that causes your PC to perform badly. The cookies that Ewido found are minor and very low risk in nature. Did find one trojan which may have improved matters somewhat.

Let see the Kaspersky scan - it may find additional trojans, viruses, and other malware items.

Just in case:

I had a recent incident on my wife's PC. The optical wireless mouse was determined to be flakey (and was interfering with and dominating the PC for its attention - E.G.: was taking at least 30 seconds to get back from a screensaver instance and likely very excessive unproductive file-swapping was going on because of sick mouse chatter). A new mouse brought us back from horrible to normal again. Just something to test out and consider.

Do you have plenty of Hard Drive space on that PC? Has anything major changed recently?
