I had the same problem with email links opening in a file called Locate Browser Link. After some fiddling around I found that my settings in outlook were not right. I went to tools in outlook then internet options then programs and changed my E-Mail setting to Outlook Express (it was set to Microsoft Office Outlook) and then it worked fine. Hopes this helps.
