software application error

Im trying to open my itunes but when i open it a software application error comes up. I cant get it to go away. I will turn my computer off then turn back on and it will still show up. What do I do?

its does not say the name. it says software application has encountered a problem and need to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
What am I looking for ..??

then another thing will pop up that says runtime error!

Check your Event Viewer via Administrative Tools.

Open the System as well as Application tabs and look for red X errors that coincide with your problem. Details here:

alrite i found ipod service with and blue i next to it, what does that mean?

It is just an information icon. If you click it it will probably just say the service started.

Blue i = information

Yellow ! = possible issues

Red X = errors

there is a red x with application error could it be that.. can i delete all those things?

Click the line. What does it say?

Yes you can clear those logs. Right click the main heading and then Clear all logs.
