itunes hassle

okay so i moved my itunes folder(my documents/my music/itunes) to my desktop. and all of a sudden my library is gone. and i used this syncing program to sync back all my songs but im not happy with the fact that all my ratings have been reset and all my top 25 most played is gone and everything. is there a way to get back to where i didnt screw everythign up. i tried restore but that didnt work.
