I'm trying to copy from a DVD of a rock concert to a PC audio file format that I can then transfer to my iPod to listen to the audio track...what's the best method/(free) product ?

Total Video Converter -- AVI to MPEG Converter, Convert Video Youtube FLV to MPEG Converter,AVI to DVD Converter,AVI to DivX Converter

ok, download that, the download button is for the free version. It gives you an option to either select a file, or you can choose from cd or dvd. It then asks for what format, under the audio tab you get loads of formats, try either MP3 or AAC/MP4 for iPod.

Hope this helps
