music on cd are asp format and won't play

I have music that a friend gave me but they won't play on my computer. when I put the disc in the computer it opens up and shows the songs but they won't play. it show they are asp files. I would like to know how to play them and also if I can change there format so I can put then on my new Zune player which supports mp3, mp3u,m4u,m4b,mp4,wma,wmv. any kind of help would be so helpfull.
