I keep getting database error displaying alot on this site.

Best to get a dedicated server they are really cheap now, such as:

2.8 GHz Pentium 4
80GB Drive
1 GB RAM
1200GB Bandwidth
Private VLAN - 8 IPs (5 usable)
RHE / Windows / FreeBSD
$0 setup / $99 monthly

Very easy, there is a function in WHM for transfering complete sites with all databases etc..Takes a second.

Web host manager, Cpanel most and nearly all hosts have it, unless you have plesk.
