What is your Ideal system
Win, Mac, AMD, Intel, other? I am just curious what everyone's Dream machine is. Does it require Water Cooling to run? Does it run on Everclear to get the Juice you need? Are you a graphics lover or a gamer?
Hey! I still a 5 year old at heart and I want to know who's is best!

Re: What is your Ideal system
I like the system I have now. The best I've ever had!
AMD Sempron 2600+
256MB RAM (hoping to upgrade to 512MB soon)
Windows XP (SP2)
Nvidia GeForce4 MX 4000 (64MB Graphics card)
MSI KT4A-V (MS-7021 v1.0) Motherboard
Built it myself so it isn't any particular make (well would be classed as MSI).

Re: What is your Ideal system
I'm torn between the P4 EE version and the 3.8Ghz P4 when it comes to that high end...However, Give me the 800G Raid10 setup with an additional 4 TB in Raid5 external storage...I'm getting shivers just thinking about it!

Re: What is your Ideal system
Hey, I am a BIG packrat when it comes to files. I still have my old PCDos 5 and 7 disks on the HDD as well as copies of my first Win3.0 and 3.11. I am an old Sysop from the BBS era. I love HDD Space...The Bigger the Better...you know there are Leg men, Tushy men, Chest men (me included) but I am mostly a LARGE HDD MAN!! Not to compare with mind you...

Re: What is your Ideal system
People with big hard disks or more than one like showing off. I'm sure in the past someone posted a Hijack This Log just to show off the fact they had 4 hard drives LOL.

Re: What is your Ideal system
I currently have a 40, 3 20s, 1 200, and 1 120 in my system. So we are talking about 1/2 a terrabyte of storage. I keep all my records on these drives. I still have my old BBS from 91 stored on the 120. (All sizes are in Gigs)
