On the 12th December i ordered a DVD as a XMAS present they replied saying it had been dispatched on the 14th, it should have arrived on the 19th, it never did, so been XMAS i allowed the XMAS period up until 5/01/05 then i emailed them they sent a replacement on the 19th Jan a package arrived on opening it there was not a DVD but a PS2 game, Actua tennis 2 it should have been Dawn of the dead the directors cut that is what i ordered and what it said on the A4 sheet enclosed. I emailed play and they said to send it back i sent it straight back on 26/01/05. I emailed again on 23/02/05 to ask where the original ordered DVD was. they replied by saying they had refunded the postage for the returned item and would send out the replacement as soon as possible.
Well when i ordered it in December the price was £14.99 the price as now dropped to £7.99 that has really p155ed me off especially as i haven't received the DVD so i am about to email them again maybe i will have more luck this time.

You are within your rights to cancel the order as they did not fulfil their contractual obligations. Having waited for an unreasonable length of time you had to source your order from another reliable retailer.

Then you can re-order at the cheaper price

I have just sent them the email asking them to refund my card if the DVD turns up it goes straight back it was only an XMAS pressie for my brother

just read my emails and it says they have sent it out at 13.00 on 02/03/05 well ithink i will send it back and reorder at the lower price

wonder if it was my email that i sent late last night that got them to send another copy out, how can someone mistake a horror DVD for a PS2 tennis game

the time they have taken so far i could have walked and swam there and back

Absolutely send it back... and make sure to enclose a letter of explanation that they could not refute in a court of law.
