I've made it to the top of Google!!
Blimey, never thought I'd see the day when I could say "I've made it to the number 1 spot at the top of google" but try searching Google.co.uk for "QXL.CO.UK no reserve" and I'm at the top !!
Some people spend years trying to fathom out how to do this so, if any of you budding webmasters would like some tips ......... well .......... erm .......... I'm not really sure, lol !

you made it to the top by the ammount of links on d-a-l and other sites, google list you for your popularity, i have been top but lost it when the server went offline

lol, I hate to burst your bubble Nathe but that is probably the most uncompetitive phrase in Google! Good job though!

It's fairly easy to get top of Google for non competitive phrases. A non competitive phrase would be something which basically nobody else is actively trying to rank high for. So, simply by having a link from here to your web site or even mentioning your website would probably put you top for that search phrase as D-A-L is extremely well indexed.
