Both Eileen and Amber are getting better.

Eileen received two pints of blood last night in addition to the 6 or 8 units of fluids via IV after birth. She is also off the heart monitor and the blood pressure monitor and made it to the maternity ward today , after 30 hours in the delivery room being monitored.

Amber is still receiving anitbiotics via IV but the heavy bruising is going.

Its looks like they will be home middle of this week.

Yikes! Sounds like the ladies had a rough time... Glad to hear everyones getting better! Congratulations

Ambers arm and collar bone have been x-rayed and they are not broken just
heavy bruising.

She has today finishised the antibiotics and the twice daily blood tests.

The docs are now concerned about her hips and leg as she will not
straighten them, been for x-ray today and we are waiting for the results.

They are also concerned about breathing and vocal cords. They have seen a
ENT doc today who is certain the voice box was bruised during birth and
should self recover within a week.

Still no news on a release date though

i hope the results come back ok, and shes home very soon. shes very beautiful

You all are going to think I am sick, but I just looked at the pic (Beautiful Girl!) But I though she was laying on a PCB...not a warmer

You can see quite clearly the bruising on her face to below her nose.
