Eight hundred pink hippopotamuses........have been washed up along the Sussex coast.

D'oh! Missed them!

With longshore drift some of them will probably make their way along here to Eastbourne sooner or later, but what state will they be in by then?

Wonder what I'd do if I did find one in good nick. I haven't got any kids, and I'm a bit too old for fluffy toys.

Put it on Ebay? Pink hippo needs good home. Slightly salty.
