Re: Latest Tech News, should it go?
I do read it and click on quite a few stories. Can we take it out of the view new threads though? It sort of bloats that feature and you end up with at least a page of news. I tend to miss help threads in between the news threads.

Re: Latest Tech News, should it go?
I glance at it occassionally but I have a few news feeds that I always look at so there never seems to be anything new to me.
I don't mind it being there; just wish it didn't show in New Posts or Unanswered Posts.
Thus I don't know which way to vote

Re: Latest Tech News, should it go?
I think the section should remain: Technology news and Must have Stuff !
But I suggest rather than the automatic feed we encourage all members to post their own links to news; events; and Must Have Stuff.
I think that would be much more interesting and community growing.
As the section is sub-titled:
As well as the latest Technology News, Post links to anything PC related which you have purchased and think is fantastic! Feel free to post a review of the product for others who may be interested.

Re: Latest Tech News, should it go?
I read it now as my almost sole source of tech news. Since I am stuck on dial-up, its the only low bandwidth friendly place left!!!
Where you move it to, however, is only a concern if you move to an offline archive

Re: Latest Tech News, should it go?
I didn't want to bump this thread because although the New Posts listings are annoying it is an otherwise benign issue to me.
Or else I was just diabolically wondering if a Poll is started should it not be followed up? Revolutions have been sparked by less! ...Just kidding...
Actually I only thought to post because I've been using this News Feeder that I really like:
http://www.feedreader.com/
I don't know how it works with bandwidth issues as I don't have those issues myself.
Anyway ...

Re: Latest Tech News, should it go?
OK as possibly the worst ever poll in the history of the internet I declare this one closed. Due to my time being zapped completely to ZERO I didnt follow up on this, which I apologise for.
As of today Tech News feeds have stopped, they were starting to break anyway. FEAR NOT THOUGH....
The new D-A-L VERSION 2 site will include all those lovely new feeds for you but in a friendly way which doesnt clog the forum
Do I hear three cheers?
