Here's one from Perth's daily newspaper
The West Australian, who admitted today they were caught out by a spoof ad in Saturday's employment pages.
We're getting a new rail link built from the city down to the southern suburbs, and it's not going quite to plan. The ad ran:
"Our client, the Perth to Mandurah Rail Link, has a newly created vacancy for an experienced, thick-skinned PR person.
Essential to the role wil be previous experience in obfuscation, preferably in government, or before a commission of inquiry or a royal commission. Specific responsibilites include making a few billion dollars sound like not much money, making a few years over schedule sound like the norm 'on big projects like this' and shifting responsibility for cost and time overruns to third parties."
The employer guaranteed to provide
"A fully-stocked cupboard to hide in when the going gets really tough."
