Started with BBC computer in the 80's moving onto an Amiga 500 then 1200. First PC was a 386 with 30Mb Hard disk and Windows 3.1 ! So I guess 8 ish years computer experience.
Messed around with most computer related stuff, setup home network, built numerous PC's and fixed way to many mates/family PC's. Pretty sound knowledge of Win 98/2000/XP and tons of other software titles which Ive had to use at some point over the years.
I guess bit of an all rounder I've also looked after Company Web Sites, basic programming, Microsoft Exchange, NT and SQL servers and backup. Started D-A-L.com as a way of sharing everyones knowledge and helping those who are not so computer literate. I have very limited knowledge of my car for instance but I use a few really good forums to help out when things go wrong so this site is giving back some knowledge from what myself and our members know.
Would also like to use this opportunity to say MASSIVE thanks to the Head Techs here who are doing a brilliant job and also those members who are putting effort in to help others on the forum
The site is growing quite considerably on a daily basis now, so considerably that since the Arcade was installed we had to move the site to a new web server! However.... 10,000 members is still the first goal and so heres your link to tell your friends, family and colleagues
