HELP - something is wrong with my laptop

This is my first time using this forum so apologies if I am posting in the wrong area. I have a problem with my laptop and am pants at IT stuff so need some help.

We have wireless broadband and when I open the internet on my laptop, everytime I click something or a page refreshes a box appears that says:

Documents has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

It then has options to send an error report or not.

What has happened? Can I fix this?

Just googled the Error message and it pointed me to the microsoft page - have a look at this link:

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the site and the error signature is different, as is the message. The post refers to Internet Explorer having a problem and needing to close. My error box says "Documents has encountered a problem....

Any other suggestions please?

go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=A463AA0A-B50B-453A-9803-EF6F7F4B451E&displaylang=en download the file..it shud b the new internet explorer version....install it. and everything will work nicely
