Re: hi, am bored hehe
What's going on here at DAL when a member can post a message that she's bored, and nobody steps in to amuse her?
Whatever happened to courtesy and consideration?
Bryony, too late now I know, but you might find this amusing, it's the Bollywood version of Michael Jackson's Thriller. Talk about lost in translation!

Re: hi, am bored hehe
lol well its a funny one honest, theres a BT phone line present in our new office so we phoned them and they said they would swtich our number to down there as it wasn't being used anymore, but the line was still connected there was a dail tone.
the next day the line had been cut off and BT say that we didn't speak to anyone the day before and there has never been a BT phone line in the office (eventho its a BT socket with all their stickers on it) so the tried to get us to pay £100 to reconnect the line in the office. We told them to do one lol so they put the line bk in!! and said there would be a engineer sent out on wednesday to sort you out for a small fee of £20 so ok then.
Wednesday came BT was 2hrs late!! came for 10mins said i dont no what to do !!! then left for 3hours!! ("10mins") came bk said i will call you later when we get it up. Then rang and said they will be round nvr turned up!!! But the phone line did go one that night thankfuly but that was this weeks BT fun

Re: hi, am bored hehe
Sounds so familiar. I have had many bad experiences with BT over the years mainly just down to poor communication on their part and bad customer service.

Re: hi, am bored hehe
On the subject of lousy service, I'm less than impressed with a certain courier firm this week. A small delivery was sent to our Perth premises from the supplier in Sydney on 06/09, due to be delivered on 10/09. It took until today, the 14th, to be delivered.
We could see from their track and trace that it was loaded on to a vehicle four days out of five! They have a new man in the area, and it's not an easy place to find, but only when we started raising a fuss did they think that maybe sending one of the veterans out with the newbie might solve the problem.
A little more imagination, and they might have asked the suppliers for our phone number...

Re: hi, am bored hehe
I have recently had a number of companies who just cannot offer a good service when I have been purchasing something.
BT really do take first place though in the UK when it comes to poor service, poor communication and poor organisation.
I challenge anyone to call BT and try and even place an order for a new line without waiting 20mins on hold before being cut off. The company is without doubt one of the worst I have ever had to deal with.
This week I managed to eventually get through to someone to place an order for broadband and the conversation went like this: (BTW this is NOT exaggerated in any way)
Hello this is BT how can we take your order
"Yes I'd like to order broadband on my new line please"
Oh ok thats fine let me transfer you to the appropriate department that deal with that.
2nd operator: Hello? how can I take your order today
"Me repeats same thing"
Oh sorry we don't deal with that, hold pelase sir while I transfer you
3rd Operator: Hello how can I take your order please?
"Again, I repeat my request"
Ah ok your actually through to the wrong department there sir our systems don't handle new accounts, let me transfer you
4th operator: Hello how can I take your order?
"Same line...."
Yes I can do that for you, please give me the number
"Really? oh ok its (Number)"
Hmm, we don't have that on the system
"Well I placed the order over a week ago and the BT engineer has been and activated the line"
No, sorry sir we have no record of that
I could go on, the conversation was utterly ridiculous and eventually I got put through to another guy who firstly put me on hold, then realised he could not deal with the call and cut me off!!!
Cheers BT! Congratulations on offering the worst customer service in the UK. (In my opinion of course!)
