Hi can anyone tell me how to stopwindows poping up like old anti virus software telling me to update etc I know you type in on RUN but not sure after that

Is there a particular reason you posted in the Chat Room as opposed to the forum of your respective O/S? You'd probably have better response in the appropriate Help Forum for your O/S.
