As always, no tablet. Just my hands, a mouse, and a lot of patience.
Lara and the wolf creature were hand drawn and coloured in Photoshop. The background was created from scratch in Photoshop CS3.

Wow, fantastic work that looks amazing. I use CS2, what tools or plugins do you use which are not standard? Or do you have a completely customised setup to create work like this?

Nothing out of the ordinary; just my plethora of custom brushes, CS3, a mouse, and a layout that I can navigate quickly

WOW!  I like it... I don't think i would be able to do anything as good as that in photoshop, no matter how hard i tried
