Re: Favourites of the Olympics 2008.
Ah yes, i never thought about it literally like that. The first time i saw the advert i just thought about the Chinese New Year Horoscopes. I suppose i should have thought that through more carefully, because this year is the year of the rat, and during the Olympics, i saw nothing about rats
During the olympics we didn't see any "Free Tibet" T-shirts did we. It's like the world forgot about what was going on behind the curtains and the closed their eyes for 2 weeks. Bit like them digital fireworks eh, we were blinded and no-one saw it coming!

Re: Favourites of the Olympics 2008.
Alot more went on then the protests about Tibet. I know the Olympics should normally be just about the competitions and stuff but I am a bit older than most and after the travesty of the German Olympics in the 1930's and again in 1970's I am a bit jaded when I see the Olympic selection board pick countries that are a bit questionable about their domestic policies. I guess I am becoming a old grouch, ow.

Oh dear, i don't think they've quite learnt how to spell yet.
Sometimes i wonder where they get this information from and whether it's biased. It understandable to see how people live their loves and it all seems pretty true, but i just question why New Yorker's would really care. They're too wrapped up in their own silly designer lives, surely having a chinese reporter would be a lot more beneficial.

Re: Favourites of the Olympics 2008.
On a side note, the Monkey looks like he's from a Gorillaz music video lol.
Also, Journey to the West is an epic fantasy of sorts in chinese culture. Think... Lord of the Rings like epic, but chinese-fied.
On topic note: I miss Anna Bessonova. Lol. My family's into Gymnastics (Rhythmic and Artistic).
