Minnesota-Wisconsin? Help me out! Lol

Hey guys, a question out to y'all!

Anyone of you guys from around Minnesota? Wisconsin/Minnesota area? I've been accepted to one of the University around there and was wondering if any one of you guys are from around there and perhaps have some words of advice for me or something lol.

Anyone of you heard of St Cloud State University? Is it any good?

Looks pretty good to what i've been reading, i've been working out all of the technical terms they sometimes put to make the uni sound better than it might actually be(i've been looking for college's so that's why) ... and i have found no flaws in what i've read which is good.

Have you chose some uni's to decided between yet, or are you just looking into some for next year? If so, send in the application as sson as you can, even if you've decided to go somewhere else, you can just turn them down. It's good practice, they're expecting it! There are quite a few open days you might be interested in going to, and i'm sure there are taster days too, i'd advise looking into that a bit more as there are too many for me to list

Whoops, forgot to mention, what do you want to study there?

Hahaha. Thanks for your help dude! I've already applied to St Cloud and has gotten accepted already actually. I'm planning to study Journalism there as I've heard their Mass Communication program is not bad.

My sister was a student there as well, but then she's not exactly a person that gets that involved in activities. She's usually restricted to dance performances (she dances lol) and all so she's not giving me any opinions at all.

It's also a little bit tough for me to go to their open day because I'm quite a distance away from them. Lol. I'm from Malaysia, so it takes about 12-19 hours flight to get to the States LOL!

Hey! If you decide to go there, we can meet up!

HEY! Why not we have a D-A-L meetup!

Okay getting outta hand. Gotta go for a talk on applying for the US Visa so catch you guys later =D

Congratulations! Good luck with your future degree (this is the part where you have to actually remeber what you study and not drown it out with alcohol) I guess your sister's opinions aren't really valid to you either... unless you want to study dance!

Hey, you could go any give her a hand, be the big musculary guy who does the lifts!

There were talks about a DAL meetup, don't know what happened about them but still...

As for me travelling to the US for Uni, i find that pretty unlikely unless i sleep in the cellar

Depends which way around the world you're travelling to get to the States too, according to Wiki answers, it will take me 63 hours to get from England. I find that answer pretty unlikely lol!

Strangeness, I live in SE Minnesota about 4 or 5 hours from St. Cloud. I visted there back when I was applying to colleges and it seemed all right, I wasn't a fan for the smaller/mid size campus so I opted for elsewhere, but the academics seemed sound, and I have a couple friends and an ex who go there and they are big fans of it so if that's what your looking for I'm sure you'll love it!
