Stream music for free

OK maybes it's just me that's been oblivious to this service? but Spotify allows you to stream tons of music absolutely free. There's always a catch of course but its not a particularly big one (yet). If you run the free version Spotify play advertisments randomly between songs, I've been listening for a while and still no ads but even if there were only a few then who cares? You can pay to remove ads as well.

So anyway here you go for all those who like me never new it existed!

I used to use something similar from Yahoo called Launch.yahoo.com. But then of course I couldn't pick the songs it streams.

However yahoo did have a rating system where they'll narrow down their songs depending on what you rate you enjoy.

I'm not sure Spotify works in the US, but there is Last.fm or something similar I think.

Yeah I've heard of Last.FM too. Not too sure how it works though. Apparently you can install Last.FM on your pc and it'll keep track of what music you listen to as well. You get to show it off to people through a small html code I believe.

I use Pandora Internet Radio - Find New Music, Listen to Free Web Radio . That way I can pick what I wish to listen to and no commercials. It also comes as a Widget in Operas Browser.
