Why won't my pictures copy and paste WORD 2000?

I have tried to copy and paste a page from web sites onto Word but the pictures are missing. Can any one tell me where I am going wrong?

The pics aren't actually in the web page - like the flag next to my name isn't on this site it's on mine. So the pics showed on the site will be 'linked to'.

Your best bet is to Right Click on the pic and save it or (I think?) File Save from IE and it will save the HTML file (with the links etc) and a folder containing the pics..... not my strong point HTML

Yep, you can do it that way or you can go to the webpage, right click/copy the pics one at a time then paste them into the right places on the page. When you save the document it will save the pics too.

Ok you've just copied the webpage into word but the pics arent there. Click on each pic on the webpage, right click/copy, go back to the word doc and right click/paste in the space where the pic isnt showing.
When you select all on a webpage to copy to word it will only save the pic placeholders because of the different format.
Even if you save the webpage complete, you still get a viewable webpage not a word doc. This is a shortcut to that.
