Confused.

Hi all,

My wife tried to send an E-mail to her son who lives in the states, ( we are in the U.K.). The address my wife used ended in "yahoo.com", which, to me seemed fine. The E-mail was returned stating that there was no such address with yahoo.

My wifes son sent her an E-mail. I looked at properties to check the address, it ended in "yahoo.co.uk" .

I must say, I am a little confused.

Is this right? The .com / .co.uk thing. Or is he actually in the U.K.?

He most likely opened the account or registered for it on the UK site and as Yahoo is web based you can access it from anywhere in the world. I live in Australia and have a yahoo.com instead of .com.au account.
