Converting Powerpoint to PDF help!

I need to convert a powerpoint file into a PDF file. I have instructions to do this (found here for the 3'x4' : http://www.csuchico.edu/biol/PosterGuide.htm ) and i have CutePDF as well. However, in teh instructions they state to go to "Print" in powerpoint and coose "CutePDF" in the printer box. CutePDF is not a printer option so I click "Find Printer" and an error box pops up saying "The Directory Service is Currently Unavailable". I have no idea what this means or what to do.

If anyone can shed some light on how to convert powerpoint to pdf it would be greatly appriciated!

We use a free PDF converter at work called PDF995. It installs as a printer driver so that you can simply "print" it from Powerpoint into a PDF file. It's a free download that you can get direct from the manufacturer's web site: http://www.pdf995.com/download.html
