A little Internet research has suggested that "Socket error 11004" may mean that your PC cannot find the server that it is looking for.
Try the following troubleshooting steps to see whether your Windows environment cannot see the server or whether it's just the Incredimail software that has an issue.
1. Click the Windows Start Menu and select 'Run'.
2. In the box, type
cmd and click 'OK'.
3. A black Command Prompt screen will open. In the black screen, type
ping incoming.verizon.net and then press [Enter]. Note that there is a space after the word "ping".
You should get 4 lines starting "Reply from ......." and a bunch of numbers and values. If this is true, then your PC has its DNS entries correctly configured. In other words, the networking / Internet connection is able to find other servers on the Internet. If the above test returns four "timeout" entries or other messages suggesting that the action failed, then the problem is not just with Incredimail - it's more fundamental than that and we will need to resolve that first .... then Incredimail will probably start working again.
