Writing LogOn Scripts for Server 2003

I am trying to build new user accounts for students that will automatically map a "network" drive folder for them to save their work. The lab machiens use Deep Freeze so that is not an option. All i can find so far is demo script is VBScript. I would prefer something in Java if that is possible. Does anyone know where I can find a sample Java log on script that would do what I need.

Also, anyone have any ideas on how to automatically build the student folder when I build the account in active directory?

I forgot to mention that my server has a partitioned hard drive. Not sure if that makes any difference, but it might.

Thanks

TG
