Jumping Screen!

Hello, my name is Dory and I am new to this website . I was hoping one of you could help me with my jumping screen!
The scroll bar on my PC is out of control and it effects all of my programmes including the internet, microsoft packages and my TV software. The only things that stops it jumping is a right click on the mouse to bring up the options menu which therefore limits what I can do on my computer!
I have run virus scans but to no avail, please help!
Thankyou,
Dory

Hello Dory and welcome to the forum!

Have you updated any drivers recently? Or ran any spyware scans?

Sounds alot like a virus or maybe even someone intrudding into your computer and messing around. Do you have a firewall?

still jumping!

Hello again! I have downloaded the microsoft spyware software and deleted everything it suggested and I have Microsoft XP Proffessional so I think that comes with a built in fire wall from what I have read.
Any other suggestions or are these precautions not thorough enough?
Thanks for your ideas,
Dory

Try Ad-Aware. There are a bunch of other anti-spyware programs listed around here, but I prefer Ad-Aware out of all of them. If worst comes to worst you can always backup your data and reinstall windows, but don't do that until you've tried everything.
