HTML Files Are Text Files

All my html files are now text files. Also, I cannot download a complete web page for viewing later (does not work with FF or Opera). Could this be due to one of the more recent MS Updates?

I have JRE 5.0.2 installed. Earlier today, I saw it was corrupted so I re installed...it did not fix the problem though. :nervous: Thanks!

Yes, that's it exactly. Just the code is there. I am using Opera. The internet pages display fine, but my saved files are messed up. When I right click on Properties of the folder, it says that it is a HTML, opens with notepad.

Oh, I see.
Right click on file -> Open With... -> Chose Program
Fine Opera on the list, and check off "Always use this program" then OK
