tif images

Hello, I have saved some images from .jpg to .tif, but some how they can only be opened by Microsoft Publisher. When I try to open these files up a message says Publisher cannot open the file, is there a way I can open with another program as it is just a waste of time. This is the first time I have tried to change to .tif image from my camera, and I did not ask publisher to be the program to open it. I am using a Dimage Z1 camera. Thanks Kilgore.

Re: tif images

Hi

First locate the image in Windows Explorer then right-click on it (Hold shift when you right-click if Win98) then select "Open With" then "Choose Program" Now select the program you wish to open the image with and check the box "Always use this program"

Re: tif images

Hello, Thanks a lot I thought I had lost some photos of my granchildren, but I have found them with your help. It must seem a bit of a stupid question to ask, but I am just starting to use all this digital lark and I dont know very much about it , How do I say the question has been answered. Thanks again Kilgore.
