DVD drive doesnt work!

Ive got this cd and dvd burner in my laptop, it used to burn and play dvds but jus now it stopped and it wants me to download drivers from the internet or something. The cd's r still working but no DVD's! ve tried uninstall and installing the drivers from the device manager, no luck!

Have you upgraged the OS or installed a new program about the time the drive stopped working?

hey man!
i had installed winamp a few days ago, so i have gone and uninstaled it. Still the same problem.

It says "windows media player can not play the dvd because a compatiable dvd decoder is not installed on your computer"

Ive tried playin it on power cinema and real player but nothing seems to work!
helllpppp me please!

hey there! thnx fo da help.. went and downloaded new interactual player and it playin dvds now! thnx for all da help.
