Re: Sound Driver

When you use that scan you need to RUN the download, not SAVE.

You can also look under dxdiag via: Start | Run | dxdiag

Look under sound for Device & Driver & post back.

Re: Sound Driver

Audio driver here:

http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2

Audio
• AC'97 link controller integrated in VIA 8237
• 5.1 Channel audio supported by Realtek ALC655 codec
- Compliance with AC'97 v2.2 spec.
- Meet PC2001 audio performance requirement

Chipset driver here:

VIA 4 in 1

http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2&Type=1

Try the audio but would suggest both.

There is an alternative list at MSI but I do not see your specific chip there:

Perhaps this: Realtek ALC Series AC'97 Audio Drivers
